The Mail Merge Commit Form
From: Main Menu -- Mail Merge
NOTE: Move the cursor over the picture of the form. When you see the little hand thingy
appear, you can click on the item to get more information!
Specify how you want to do the mail merge here. If you leave both the 'print' and the 'disk' boxes unchecked, SatTracker previews the merged documents one at a time. This is a good way to debug your mail merge efforts. After each record in the query is processed, a dialog box is displayed asking you to either go to the next or cancel. You can use Alt Tab to switch between the merged document and the 'go to next record' dialog in Sat Tracker.
Send Documents To Printer: Sends the merged documents to the printer.
Write Documents To Disk: The merged documents are written to a directory named after the query that is the base of the mail merge, numbered and timestamped. For example, if the query is "UserDefined_OwesMoney", a typical document path is C:\SatTracker\UserDefined_OwesMoney\MailMerge_12_2000_01_05_12_37.doc. The numbers at the end mean it is the 12'th document printed, at 12:37 on january 5'th, 2000.
Do Merge: Start the mail merge.
Cancel: Closes this form.
